Edgnett was formed in Broken Hill in 1996. The company has grown to be the quality 'IT service provider of choice' in Western NSW.
The credo of Edgnett is to provide the business community and government organisations with 'capital city quality' IT consulting, and technical services at sensible prices. Edgnett sell and support business - quality computer hardware as well as Microsoft and other software. We also tailor and deliver training courses for Microsoft products. Our business ethos is based on the phrases, 'quality of service' , 'professional performance' and 'customer satisfaction'. To this end we do not do business with, or actively market computer hardware or software to the general public. This is to ensure these activities do not affect our primary focus, to the detriment of our business and government customers.
Edgnett's staff have many years of experience in a wide range of IT and business disciplines.
Our technical staff have a wide range of high level skills including:

Edgnett is committed to supporting the region through sponsorship and support for community and educational initiatives. From 1997 we have supported the DET career development program by providing work experience for Y10 and Y12 students. We have also provided sponsorship for awards for students at a number of Broken Hill and regional schools, including Willyama High School, Broken Hill High School, Broken Hill School of the Air, Tibooburra Outback School of the Air and Pooncarie Public School. We also sponsored a major DET award for the top Western Region IT student in 2002. Edgnett has also contributed to other organisations including:
- Lifeline Broken Hill, Edgnett instead of spending money on Christmas cards we donated that money to Lifeline Broken Hill
- Movember, Edgnett participated in Movember raising $xxxx.xx for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) and beyondblue: the national depression initiative

- Broken Hill Golf & Country Club
